AUTOMOTIVE SALES DIRECTOR

AUTOMOTIVE SALES DIRECTOR #1639836 RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manage and develop NVIDIA automotive business in the Americas. - Sustain and enhance relationships at existing and new customers. - Develop strategic relationship with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 top management. - Balance the voice of the customer with NVIDIA objectives and directions. - Position based in Detroit PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - The Automotive Sales Director is required to thoroughly understand customer systems and requirements with reporting and implementation within NVIDIA. - Develop and enhance relationships within each existing and new customer to effectively understand their needs and represent the best position for NVIDIA. - Identify vehicle platforms and respective key personnel at OEM and Tier 1 customers as they relate to applications of NVIDIA's automotive products. - Technical experience/expertise on automotive eco system & Industry mechanics to drive needs/ requests to NVIDIA BU in order to meet customer needs & close business opportunities. - Create and continually update aggressive sales plans with critical tasks towards generation of all potential NVIDIA product opportunities at each respective customer. - Generate customer letters, quotations, and correspondence consistent with the needs of NVIDIA and the Customer. - Team oriented approach with respective NVIDIA Program Managers, FAE's and GAMS. - Compliment the efforts of the NVIDIA Program Managers and FAE's by assisting in the program definition, prototype stages, management review, and the launch process at NVIDIA. - Support Marketing by collecting and providing competitive information. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - 10~15 years sales and sales management experience in semiconductors and related software solutions. - Direct experience with Automotive OEM's and/or Tier 1's. - Executive level sales knowledge and experience. - Strong negotiation skills are requested. - Able to manage GAMs across Geo's. - Strong written and verbal communication.
