SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT #1557922 NVIDIA is searching for a world-class engineer for an exciting role as an Industry Solutions Architect for the Oil and Gas Industry. NVIDIA GPUs are a disruptive technology in the industry and you will have the opportunity change the economics of Oil and Gas exploration and production. The Solution Architect is a trusted advisor in the Industry and a key contributor to NVIDIAs success. They work with End Users, Developers, and Systems, and Software vendors to ensure that solutions are optimized to take advantage of the acceleration provided by NVIDIA GPUs. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Evangelize NVIDIA technologies to business and the Industry on how NVIDIA provides disruptive solutions that solving the worlds most challenging seismic and reservoir simulation problems. - Provide solution design, benchmarking, and demonstration support of opportunities; provide oversight and guidance throughout the lifecycle of opportunities with the customer. - Develop relationships as a trusted advisor within the customer environment and within NVIDIA related to strategic planning of solutions and products for both the Industry and for NVIDIA. - Develop and deliver training and workshops on CUDA, OpenACC, and NVIDIA solutions. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelors Level Degree in Geophysics - Masters level preferred Systems Engineering - HPC and Seismic experience, 5+ years - Systems Architecture, Cluster Design - Systems Administration; Linux, Networking, Infiniband, Windows - Cluster Management Platforms (Platform, Bright, SGE) Software Development and Applications - Seismic Processing and/or Reservoir Simulation - Parallel programming, CUDA development, Directives - Programming Skills: C, Fortran, C++ - Graphics Technologies: OpenGL, visualization tools Sales and Communication Skills - Sales Skills; Presentation and Written communication, ability to run workshops - Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills - Project Management - Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment and deal with complicated solutions - Action oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to communicate very effectively and develop relationships with customers DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: - Experience in seismic industry software vendors or major influencers - Publications and presentations - Specialty skills in large scale and cluster computing - Travel required (up to 40%) EOE
