SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT - MEDICAL IMAGING AND INSTRUMENTATION #1577095 NVIDIA is searching for a world-class engineer for an exciting role as a Solutions Architect. We work with the most exciting successful organizations in the world creating disruptive technology using NVIDIA solutions. This position is focused on the Medical Imaging and Instrumentation Industries where NVIDIA processors are providing capabilities in image processing, and reconstruction and visualization. This role has the potential to be based in Santa Clara, CA; or Westford, MA; or New York City, NY. The Solution Architect is a trusted advisor in the market place and a key contributor to NVIDIAs success. The Solution Architect works with End Users, Systems, and Software vendors OEMs, Independent Software Vendors, System Integrators and Display vendors to ensure that the solutions are optimized to take advantage of the acceleration provided by NVIDA GPUs and the CUDA programming environment. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Evangelize NVIDIA technologies to leaders in the Medical Imaging Instrumentation Industry. This includes Systems OEMs, and Academic contributors to the Industry. - Provide training and guidance on programming models and advantages of NVIDIA processors and the CUDA platform as they apply to medical solutions. - Provide solution design, benchmarking, and demonstration support of opportunities and oversight and guidance of implementation throughout the lifecycle of opportunities with the customer. - Act as liaison between customer and NVIDIA engineering on critical features, enhancements, and bug resolution MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Industry Experience - 5+ years experience in the medical instrumentation or complementary Industry - Image processing and 3-D reconstruction techniques and algorithms - Embedded Systems experience Software Development and Applications - Medical Instrumentation techniques and applications - Parallel programming, CUDA and OpenCL&GL experience. - 3D visualization techniques including volume rendering - Experience with 3D graphics APIs such as OpenGL or DirectX - C and C++ programming skills - Indepth knowledge of both Linux and Windows operating systems - Understanding of hardware virtualization and remote visualization Sales and Communication Skills - Sales Skills; Presentation and Written communication skills - Proficient with WebEx, MS PPT and ExcelXEL - Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills - Project Management - Ability to multitask effectively in a fast paced environment and deal with complicated solutions - Action oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to communicate very effectively and develop relationships with customers EDUCATION: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or similar program is required - Graduate Level Degree in Computer or Physical Science is desired DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE: - Industry publications - Specialty skills in large scale and cluster computing - Travel required (up to 40%) EOE
