SENIOR POWER ARCHITECT, TEGRA #1614687 In this role you will be responsible for constructing the system power management solutions for NVIDIA's Tegra products. As part of the architecture team, you will collaborate closely with other Architects, Software Engineers, ASIC Design Engineers, and System Engineers to study, devise and implement the power management strategy for NVIDIA's mobile roadmap. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Research and devise solutions for the complex technical challenges of creating the most powerful and energy efficient processors in the mobile market. - Perform detailed analytical studies into chip specific power consumption issues and drive system level investigations in order to solve platform level power issues. - Develop models of our SOCs and platforms in order to understand and analyze their response under various conditions. - Develop specifications detailing our chip and platform power management solutions for internal and external consumption. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - 8+ years of total experience with 5+ years of experience with power management techniques, including leakage fundamentals, clock gating, dynamic frequency and voltage scaling, power sequencing, and power measurement. - Experience with mobile power management chips and board-level power delivery. - Experience with systems software, operating systems, and user level application interactions. - MS in EE/CS/ECS or related technical field or equivalent. Ideally focused on computer architecture. - Ability to think simultaneously about unit and system constraints. DESIRED: - ARM or other microprocessor experience. - Video and/or 3D experience. - Experience with chip backbone and interconnect architectures, buses, I/O hubs, I/O systems, storage, networking, media processing, etc. EOE
