SENIOR LINUX SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR / ENGINEER #1648087 NVIDIA's CUDA team is seeking a senior Systems Administrator or Engineer with extensive experience working in a complex computing environment to join the CUDA infrastructure team. You will act as a senior member of our team, working to provide robust and full-featured development productivity tools and capabilities to a large team of CUDA developers. As part of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the system and database software and utilities running on a large installation composed of more than 500 systems: ranging from Linux servers, to Linux, Windows, and Mac workstations, to a variety of embedded systems. Your systems will contain state-of-the-art and not-yet-released GeForce, Quadro, and Tesla discrete GPUs as well as Tegra SOCs. You will also be responsible for working with the entire team to improve and optimize all aspects of the infrastructure to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the CUDA engineers. Strong scripting/programming skills and a desire to automate repetitive tasks is essential. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - General Linux administration and troubleshooting (Redhat and Ubuntu strongly preferred) - Scripting / programming skills (Perl and bash required, Python is a plus) - Deploying, managing, and optimizing large scale, high transactions databases in a production environment, especially with respect to: * backup & disaster recovery strategies & verification * load balancing * performance monitoring & tuning * synchronous/streaming replication - Deploying and managing replicated file systems in a production environment - TCP/IP networking fundamentals - Strong written and verbal communication skills DESIRED SKILLS: - General Windows and Mac administration and troubleshooting - Network based OS installation solutions for Linux, Mac, and Windows - X window system and Linux desktop environments (Gnome, KDE, etc.) - Source code and version control systems (Perforce, GIT) EOE
