SR. TEGRA SYSTEM ARCHITECT

SENIOR TEGRA SYSTEM ARCHITECT #1539814 NVIDIA develops leading solutions in the mobile space through our Tegra solutions. Tegra system architecture is expanding, and is looking for strong leaders for the future. System architecture develops, designs, and explores future roadmaps in low power design and intellectual property. We are investigating new IO's (input output controllers), improved camera processors, ARM CPU's, and enhanced GeForce GPU's (Graphics Processing Units). System architecture is cross disciplinary, and works with tech marketing, software, ASIC design, and physical design. The System Architecture Lead position provides leadership to the rest of the team by resolving architectural issues, writing excellent specifications, presenting plans, and interacting with key customers. Our system architects excel at simulator prototyping, analysis of power and performance data, inventions for patents, verification flows, and working with partners for advancing state of the art in standards and interfaces. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Design, verification, and validation of system architecture components - Architecture/Software/hardware codesign and collaboration - Architectural specification writing review and presentation - Patenting novel parts of system architecture - Test plan writing and review - Quality code implementation, development, and debugging MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Demonstrated industry leadership in system architecture - Invention in one or more of: low power design, IO's (such as USB, EMMC), ARM CPU, Cache and high performance bus interfaces, Camera processors, GPUs - MS or PhD in computer or electrical engineering - 5 years of design and/or verif experience - 3 years of C++ development (or equivalent, Systems C, Java) - Communication excellence shown by conference presentations, team lead, technical management of teams EOE
