SR WEB DEVELOPER - DRUPAL ARCHITECT #1653610 As a Senior Web Developer - Drupal Architect for the NVIDIA global web team located in Santa Clara, California, you will be part of a highly collaborative group of professionals with a passion for innovation and a strong desire to revolutionize the way millions of users interact with our hardware, software, and services. You will support products for mobile, desktop, web, and consumer electronics (handheld gaming devices, smartphones, tablets, et al). You will collaborate on innovative solutions with user experience (UX) designers and stakeholders to create web and mobile experiences. The successful candidate will provide Drupal 7 development expertise and working experience in responsive design and is already paying attention to the Drupal 8 roadmap. APPLICANT TO PROVIDE: 1. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead the full lifecycle of Drupal projects, from architecture, publishing, deployment to theming and everything in-between. - Own process of migrating existing legacy platforms to Drupal. - Extend Drupal to meet specific needs by creating custom modules that follow best practices for module development. - Facilitate mobile development by working with vendors for native apps and building responsive websites. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - At least 4 years experience designing, developing, and tuning applications on Drupal platform. - Experience with design and implementation of multi-domain global sites. - Experience working with global and regional marketing teams, campaign managers, or some other non-technical business unit within an organization. - Experience building APIs to allow external applications to consume JSON-based RESTful services driven from Drupal. - Highly versed in enterprise usage of: Deploy and Services modules, Views, Features, Context. - Experience troubleshooting and modifying Drupal modules. - Well-versed with version control systems such as GIT, SVN, or Perforce. - Significant front-end web development experience. - Strong working knowledge of responsive design. - Demonstrated ability in problem solving, decision-making, and thought leadership. DESIRED: - Experience with mobile-based implementations (responsive websites and or native applications). - Experience localizing content for a global audience across multiple domains. - Experience using SASS or LESS for building CSS. - Experience with Jenkins or other automated deployment tools and methodologies. - Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with understanding of Drupal Modules for SEO EOE EOE
