SR. SOFTWARE ENGINEER #1659306 As a key member of the Automation and Tools team, this role requires an experienced professional who will be responsible for developing automation on complex, mission-critical infrastructure and system software. This is a critical role with opportunity to make a big impact in an exciting company. You will help enable NVIDIA deliver cutting-edge capability and continue to revolutionize the gaming world. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Working as a leader in automation development on various operating systems and NVIDIA GPUs. Interact with other multi-site team members (India, China & USA) during product life cycle by participating in all stages of software development. - Implement and manage automated test engineering processes: smoke, functional, performance, stress, load tests - Develop and maintain various applications for automation framework/infrastructure tools - Expose defects and constraints. Isolate the issue; drive for root cause. Contribute to the solution and drive closure. - Collaborate with software development and QA teams to enhance automated test coverage and deliver reliable, robust, high-performance system software related to visual computing module MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - BS or higher degree in CS/EE/CE or equivalent, with minimal 3-5 years of working experience in automation field - Extensive experience implementing test automation frameworks and test infrastructure solutions. - Solid programming skills with C# and/or C++ is a must. - Web development experience with .NET, HTML, Javascript etc.. is preferred. - Knowledge of scripting languages(Perl, Python, or other) is a plus. - Experience with system level test development which includes working with Kernel API's and test automation for device driver test plans. - Hands on experience with implementation of Test Driven Development and automation in Agile development would be a major plus - Self-motivated and able to work effectively across different functional teams - Demonstrates excellent communication and leadership capabilities EOE
