Main Tasks and Responsibilities

As a Customer Experience Designer, your job will be to make sure that the consumer’s service experience is at the heart of the game.

Integrated into the game’s creation team, you will be in charge of designing an engaging pathway for players, with customer psychology as a main focus, making sure everything is aligned to reach that goal: ergonomics, difficulty tuning, amount of free resources granted, and the presentation of paid items that are proposed.

Your daily tasks will include, but are not limited to:

•    Directing teams in the best user-experience practices by setting out guidelines for use throughout the development phase
•    Providing relevant insight into human behaviour in order to shape gameplay and customer experience
•    Performing analyses on all aspects of gameplay
•    Ensuring that discussions with the creative teams lead to applicable proposals that account for gameplay and production constraints
•    Describing the solutions in the game design documents (wire frames, functional specifications, storyboards, etc.) that will guide production
•    Improving existing playtesting methodologies while incorporating novel techniques to improve the best practices

Requirements:

•    Graduate degree in Psychology (or an equivalent field)
•    Empathy
•    Strong communication skills, ability to convey feedback and ideas in comprehensive, clear and visual messages
•    Interest in the gaming industry

Only selected candidates will be contacted. Your CV will be saved in our files for a period of 6 months. Thank you for your interest in Gameloft.
