Release Manager

Description

Have you successfully captained the high seas of releasing a major console title into the vast ocean waters? Is console certification planning and compliance testing coordination second nature to you? Have you established processes and procedures for releasing games and post-launch updates that include all the appropriate functional teams? Can you write scripts or tools that automate away repetitive (but necessary) tasks? If you answered 'yes' to all of those questions, have you ever considered becoming the Dread Pirate Roberts?

As a Release Manager at Bungie you will be involved in releasing our games and updates on all supported platforms. You'll work with teams across the studio to schedule and coordinate testing/bug fixes for certification passes, act as the primary point of contact for any platform-specific release issues, communicate status on all issues relating to releases, and help (re)define processes and procedures to make sure we have smooth launches. You'll also work with external partners as needed to ensure that all of our releases go as planned, regardless of the platform.

Estimated Duration: Long term, project (duration may be shortened or lengthened based on business needs).

  • Ability to quickly solve or seek the solution to any problem in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
