Credits include Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole, Happy Feet, LEGO® Star Wars®: The Padawan Menace (TM), 300, House of Flying Daggers, Moulin Rouge, Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Iron Man 3. 

We recently completed production on feature films:  Walking with Dinosaurs: The Movie, The Great Gatsby, The Rover and The LEGO® Movie.  The studio is currently in production on Angelina Jolie’s, Unbroken and Chen Kaige’s, The Monk.

We are currently looking for a Senior Production Accountant to join the Production Accounting team.  The Senior Production Accountant supports the Head of Production in the handling of complex production finance duties for specific feature projects.  You will assist in overseeing the internal financial budget for our productions and provide general support to the Production team.

You would also provide general and specialized analysis support; and work closely with the corporate finance department.  This not your average Production accounting role! 

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of estimated Final Cost Reports for VFX productions
  
• Assisting the Head of Production in producing weekly and monthly cost reports and forecast for major projects as required
• Provide support to the Production Management team on project financial matters
• Provide ad hoc analysis of production progress and budgeting
• Assist the Head of Production and the Production Management team in financial review and analysis of client bids
• Assist to resolving financial and budgetary issues

To be successful in this role, the following is required:

• 2 – 3 years of previous experience in a film accounting or financial analysis role
• Animation and/or VFX experience preferred
• Advanced skills in Excel and Word
• Good financial analysis skills
• Good organisational skills
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team
