We are currently looking for a Lead Animator (Pre-Rendered Cinematics) (m/f)

As our Lead Animator (Pre-Rendered Cinematics) (m/f) you will manage our cinematics team in both technical and personnel matters. You will work with our Art Director along with our Senior and Lead Artists to ensure a coherent style in our products and trailers.

Your job:

  • Take joint responsibility for the internal production of our trailers
  • Manage and develop the cinematics team responsible for our trailers in both technical and personnel matters
  • Collaborate closely with our Art Director, Senior and Lead Artists to create a consistent product style
  • Give instruction, training and feedback to all the employees in the team
  • Coordinate time management, prioritization and deadlines in close collaboration with our project managers
  • Communicate the overall design vision to all the stakeholders in the company
  • Develop and oversee in-house design concepts and further training programs

Your profile:

  • A completed degree or apprenticeship in 3D animation, cinematography, or a comparable course
  • Several years’ experience as an animator, possibly with some management experience
  • Several years’ experience in the TV or film industry or in game development
  • Outstanding knowledge of Maya or a similar 3D program
  • Keen sense of motion sequences, proportion and perspective
  • Outstanding social skills, both in a team as well as in dealing with customers
  • Excellent communication skills and a highly team-oriented attitude
  • Experience of establishing production pipelines and optimizing processes
  • Highly knowledgeable about current industry standards above all regarding software, and aware of emerging trends
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Passion for gaming
  • A valid work and residence permit is required prior to commencement of employment
