Description

 Come join the Graphics Software team at Intel! In this position, you will help provide automation solutions for graphics driver development and validation which will improve time to market for cutting edge products and impact the day to day lives of nearly 2,000 engineers. This position requires a diverse set of skills and will give you the opportunity to work with graphics engineering teams from all over the world. We are looking to add to our team a web development expert with an eye for UI design, an ability to quickly prototype and visualize concepts using modern web technologies, and a proven track record with real-world examples of your work. You will also be required to evaluate and optimize business processes and maximize the ease-of-use of web applications to support business processes. You will be stepping into a fast-moving, exciting environment with team members that are open to change, interested in learning, and anxious to help improve the lives of the engineering community at Intel. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter, open to change, ready to learn new languages and technologies, and enjoys working with a diverse set of people to create a collaborative community of software development. 

Qualifications

 Minimum Requirements: 
You must have a Bachelor's degree with 3 years' experience, or a Master's degree with 2 years' experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Experience should be combined in the following areas: 

- Ability and desire to learn and grow in your skills and understanding of software development 
- Proven UI design skills with examples to demonstrate variety of skills and implementations 
- Ability to prototype websites using modern web frameworks and technologies 
- Mastery of web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, and Javascript 
- Mastery of one or more javascript frameworks such as angularJS, Backbone.js, jQuery, etc. 
- Demonstrated ability to use and develop software in a UNIX/Linux operating environment. 
- Proficiency with programming or scripting languages, especially Python 
- Ability to use and create web-based tools to visualize, analyze and edit data 
- Knowledge of variety of systems methods for storing, analyzing and presenting large data sets. 
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux scripting languages such as bash, awk or sed. 

Preferred experience for the ideal candidate would include some of the following items: 
- Proficiency with relational database management systems and query software such as SQL, MySQL or PostgreSQL 
- Experience with Scrum, Kanban, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment 
- Experience using testing automation tools 
- Organization and time management skills to meet project goals and schedules. 
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-member project team, work within the scope of the divided tasks and report progress 

Candidates should be able to demonstrate strong communication and soft skills, including: 
- Ability to interact with end-users to define requirements. 
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders 
- Ability to communicate technical designs to peers and junior developers 
- Strong commitment and focus on producing high quality documentation for multiple audiences (users, developers administrators) 
- Demonstrate good technical documentation strengths 
- Possess a strong desire to continually learn new technologies and be able to identify how they could be leveraged to address current business needs
