Senior 3D Character Artist (m/f)

As Senior 3D Character Artist (m/f), you will primarily be responsible for modeling and rigging characters for our new AAA project. Your role will involve acting as a technical mentor for the rest of the art team.

Your job:

  • Create high quality characters and other graphic content for our new AAA project
  • Model and rig characters and creatures 
  • Verify the quality of current 3D assets
  • Mentor und train other character and 3D artists
  • Collaborate closely with our design, technology, and art teams

Your profile:

  • Completed degree or equivalent training course in graphic design, ideally with a focus on 3D art
  • Several years of substantiated professional experience as a character artist
  • In-depth understanding of human and creature anatomy
  • An excellent eye for shape, color, structure, light, shading, and details
  • Skilled in low and high poly modeling and UV mapping
  • Very good knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, or similar 3D programs, such as 3ds Max, as well as Zbrush
  • A good knowledge of traditional drawing skills (life drawing, illustration)
  • Experience contributing to (published) AAA titles as a character artist is desirable
  • Very good written and spoken English
