Are you keen on quality and will do anything to make sure it's up to the standard?
We have a new Quality Controller - Rendering position
at Bardel to do just that! As a Quality Controller, you will ensure
that the final animation product delivered to the client is free of any
defects, and that the animation is in line with the design and conforms
to technical specifications.
What you will be doing:
- Identify,
report and resolve technical rendering and/or composition errors or
quality issues early in the pipeline to reduce revisions
- Provide guidance and technical support for other team members and departments on rendering
- Submit all shots within a production on the render farm
- Liaise with relevant departments to ensure the overall production remains in line with established timelines and schedule
- Inspecting and reviewing material to ensure animation is free of visual and technical defects
- Receiving and interpretation of defect reports from the clients
- Creation, design, and implementation of quality control scenarios for animation
- Keeping up to date with the standards and requirements of animation quality
What you will bring with you:
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, preferable in the animation industry
- A strong knowledge of quality control cycle
- Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal
- Proven track record of the ability to work under pressure and under tight deadlines
- Display willingness to be part of a very team-oriented environment
- Ability to work with people at all levels and disciplines
