Description
Exceptional Minds (EM) is a dynamic vocational
training program and computer animation/visual effects studio for young adults
with autism. We are currently seeking a VFX Lead Artist to work with our young
adults locally in our digital studio, in Sherman Oaks. Please apply if you are local to Los Angeles, this is not a remote position.
The VFX Lead Artist responsibilities include, but
are not limited to:
· Technical knowledge of After Effects, Nuke
for vfx cleanup work and compositing
· Knowledge of Illustrator/Indesign for end
credit title work.
· He or She will supervise our artists in the
areas of compositing, rotoscoping, paint cleanup, plate preparation, AE & Nuke
workflow pipeline setup, rendering 2K DPX and Quicktime files with appropriate
CDL & LUT’s applied.
Requirements:
· 5 yrs of professional experience: including
marker and rig removal, roto-shape creation with automated tools as well as
frame-by-frame techniques, well versed in tracking, understanding of basic editing
and counts, plate restoration and correction for composite, paint and composite
work using both procedural and by hand techniques.
· High level of professional achievement and
industry credentials in 2D VFX (i.e. BA, MA and/or Certifications)
· Comprehensive knowledge of VFX pipeline
(including color bit depth, various color profiles) and software (such as After
Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Mocha, Silhouette, and Nuke).
· Ability to communicate clearly and
effectively with all levels of artists in our facility.
Pay Range: Contingent
upon person’s experience.
