Encore VFX is looking for Mid/Senior Level Nuke
Compositors to work as a freelancer in our Los Angeles location. The perfect
candidate for this position needs to be a team player with great attitude, and
be dependable and flexible with our fast turnarounds.
Job
Description:
? Seamlessly
integrate the various layers or elements of a live-action shot
? Solve
problems under tight deadlines and fast shot turnaround.
? Strong
attention to detail, sense of color, colorspace and lighting
? Matte
extractions from Blue/Green screen plates
? Composite
Multi-Pass CG Elements to create photoreal shots.
? Good
understanding of photography and practical lighting
? Work
with other artists to ensure that shots are completed to the highest standard
? Work
with Comp and VFX Supervisors to composite the numerous elements that complete
the shot.
Job
Requirements:
? At
least 5 years of Episodic or Feature VFX compositing experience.
? Must
be proficient in all areas of Nuke
? Clean
and efficient script organization
? Should
possess a strong eye for color and color matching
? Should
have a strong knowledge of compositing workflow
? Strong
knowledge of the Nuke 3D Environment and projection mapping
? Ability
to Multitask and and possess strong organizational and communication skills
? Take
direction/notes positively and work well within a team
? Ability
to take on sequences of shots in order to keep continuity between them
