Associate Recruiter, Creative (Temp)

Blizzard Entertainment's talent acquisition department has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and highly organized talent acquisition professional to join the creative recruiting team as an associate recruiter.  This role will support our artistic talent scouting and hiring processes. You will be on the front lines of recruitment, and help us search the world to find the best and brightest talent for our Irvine studio.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the full cycle hiring process across multiple creative / artistic teams.
  • Engage with recruiters to ensure a deep understanding of open positions and requirements across key departments.
  • Keep hiring departments informed of progress and status.
  • Review and prescreen applications to quickly identify and escalate high potential candidates.
  • Coordinate reel and portfolio review sessions, collect, and log feedback.
  • Administer artistic tests; distribute results and solicit feedback.
  • Collect, aggregate, and log interview feedback.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date job postings on external sites.
  • Compile search histories and candidates records via ad hoc reporting and applicant tracking database.
  • Conduct industry research to facilitate the sourcing process.
  • Assist with offer drafting process.
  • Greet, escort, and tour candidates.
  • Handle additional administrative tasks and projects as needed.
REQUIREMENTS
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative role, preferably supporting recruiting, human resources or entertainment production
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Impeccable organizational and time-management abilities
  • Self-starting personality with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture
  • Able to act with discretion when handling confidential matters
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
PLUSES
  • Direct experience with a recruitment team
  • Professional experience in a creative setting such as entertainment, advertising or design
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and / or project tracking software
  • Formal study of the arts or entertainment industry
  • A passion for animation, comics, games and visual effects
