Game Manager

 Gameloft, an international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and console, is seeking a Game Manager to join our Toronto Studio. 

 

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

 

The Game Manager will be responsible for the development (budget, deadlines, content) of mobile games. They will be overseeing the studio’s Producers along with their teams consisting of Designers, Programmers, Artists, Monetization and Marketing experts. 

  • Manage the development of new games and game update throughout all production stages: concept, mock-up, alpha, beta, gold;
  • Supervise the marketing and business strategies of live games including but not restricted to live operations, business performances, advertising programs and customer care;
  • Ensure communication with Gameloft executive producers and quality assurance teams in other studios for project follow-up;
  • Assign tasks and manage projects for teams of designers, programmers, artists, testers, monetization and marketing experts;

·         Overseeing quality in collaboration with the Managers and the internal/external experts.

 

Skills and Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the video game industry with at least one published title to your credit;
  • In-depth knowledge and passion for video games;
  • Some strong project management knowledge and experiences including but not restricted to agile methodologies;
  • Highly motivated and enterprising;
  • Excellent reporting and presentation skills; the art of negotiation is an asset;
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills to deliver quality projects within tight deadlines;
  • Creative, pragmatic, and able to find the best solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure project development;
  • Comfortable with Atlassian products, MS Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
