JOB SUMMARY
Join the
Golden Tee Golf team and work on the most successful coin-operated game franchise
in history. We are looking for an
enthusiastic game programmer to work on Golden Tee Golf and help create other
coin-operated amusement games. This software engineer will play a vital role on
our development team. This position will
be responsible for leading development initiatives for both existing and new
game programs. While this role is a
development position, it relies on coordination with many of the departments at
Incredible Technologies. Applicants must
have clear written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to
interact well with others.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
·
Create and implement new in-game features
·
Work directly with technical lead
·
Design tools and assets for the art team
·
Work directly with artists and programmers to improve workflow and
processes
·
Work alongside web and app teams for product integration
·
Explore and improve upon existing legacy code and platform
PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
EXPERIENCE
·
3+ years experiences as a game
programmer/software developer with primary focus in C++
·
Experience in video games,
coin-operated amusement or gaming industry a huge plus
·
Affinity for game play is a
strongly preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
·
Must have a flair for the
creative
·
Strong experience with, knowledge
of and skills with C++ and Java
·
Understanding of Object Oriented
programming
·
Experience in a 3D graphics
environment
·
Object C experience
·
Experience with asynchronous,
event-driven programming
·
Superb debugging skills
·
Bash/shell scripting and Linux
experience are preferred
·
Network programming experience is
preferred
·
Exhibit very strong problem
solving skills
·
Exercise great communication skills,
both written and verbal
·
Display superior organizational
skills as well as an acute eye for detail
·
Able to work on time-sensitive
projects while following precise direction
·
Demonstrate high motivation and
creative thinking as an innovative self-starter

Capable of working individually

EDUCATION
·
Bachelor’s degree in Computer
Science or equivalent and/or applicable work experience
