Description
Gameloft, the largest mobile-gaming development studio
in Montreal, is seeking a sound mixer to join its video team.
Gameloft creates games for
all digital platforms, including mobile phones, smartphones and tablets
(including Apple® iOS and Android® devices), set-top boxes and connected TVs.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Working closely with the Video Producer, Director
and Video Editors, the Sound Mixer will create the entire soundscape (music and
sound effects) of videos for marketing and promotional purposes. The Sound Mixer
will report to the Video Producer.
Skills
- One year of experience in
editing original sound and music for video;
- Able to mix and edit music and sound effects for
trailers and videos, as well as record sound during filming (indoor and
outdoor);
- Asset: Able to compose music
in a wide range of styles (classical orchestra, rock, jazz, etc.) that is
contextual and descriptive, according to marketing needs.
Profile
- You
have a diploma in Music and/or Sound Design (recording), preferably.
- You
enjoy working as part of a team and are able to create, analyze and
synthesize. You are very thorough and have good interpersonal and
organizational skills;
- You
are passionate about video games, music and video productions;
- You
enjoy working as part of a creative team and can contribute new ideas;
- You
are able to work under pressure and under tight deadlines.
