As part of its development program, and for its ambitious upcoming productions, QUANTIC DREAM is expanding its Game Design team to strengthen the current team and participate in improving and developing Game Design.
As Senior Game Designer in the core team involved in a competitive project under development, and in close collaboration with the project’s Game Design Lead and Creative Director, you will be in charge of broadening strategic options, the game design, integration and balancing of all the actions, “actors” and content of the game.
Under the responsibility of the Game Design Lead, in a friendly environment focused on teamwork, you will ensure that the Game Director’s vision is respected.
Dynamic and committed, you enjoy challenges, are proactive and will be a driving force in the team.
Finally, being a very good communicator and building on your experience, you will diligently gear your knowledge to the specific needs of an innovative new project. Your clear enthusiasm will support and optimize the development of this project in the best possible way.
PROFILE
- You have solid experience as a Game Designer on a competitive or strategy game where you were in charge of balancing the game;
- Familiarity with the problems of balancing a competitive game or strategy game;
- Good knowledge of competitive games which you play regularly;
- Mastery of database management and MS Excel;
- Prior experience in managing a meta-database in LiveOps;
- Great curiosity and general cultural awareness of video games;
- Good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills in order to interact and collaborate with various different contacts;
- You are inquisitive and open to others; you particularly enjoy working in a team;
- A well-honed vision of the game experience and a strong attention to detail;
- Ability to work in highly iterative processes;
- You show initiative and are a driving force;
- Your creativity and practical approach help you find and apply the best solutions to move forward;
- You are a good listener, are quick to understand and are able to interpret/clarify creative challenges and visions;
- You have a proactive attitude, seek to improve your skills and knowledge, and to share them with other team members;

QUANTIC DREAM was founded in 1997 by David Cage. Today co-managed by David Cage and Guillaume de Fondaumière, our studio has gained over the years international recognition for its contribution to interactive narration and its fresh thinking on emotion in games.
We are also considered to be one of the leading motion capture studios, especially for the creation of real-time 3D Virtual Actors performing with stunning realism.

Since 2006, we have developed the three award-winning and multimillion selling Playstation titles HEAVY RAIN (PS3/PS4), BEYOND: TWO SOULS (PS3/PS4) and DETROIT: BECOME HUMAN (PS4).
Detroit: Become Human, which released on May 25th 2018 on PLAYSTATION 4, is Quantic Dream’s fastest selling title to date, having sold in excess of 1 million units in its first two weeks on shelves. Heavy Rain, which released in February 2010 and won three BAFTA and DICE awards, remains our bestselling title so far, with combined sales of over 5 million units worldwide on PS3 and PS4.
We are currently working on several unannounced titles.
