Jr. Environment Artist Contractor/Project

Deck Nine Games is currently hiring entry
level Environment Artists to help craft an interactive cinematic video game for
a AAA publisher. This is a project position with the choice of working in
studio or remotely. This project will last approximately 16 months, with the
potential for future projects afterwards.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with senior art staff to create
models and textures for scene assets, and aid in the assembly of both
architectural and organic environments.
• Troubleshoot assets and maintain them within
the desired look and function.
• Work core hours and be available to attend
meetings between 10-4 MST.
Requirements
• A
strong polygonal modeling skillset with the ability to generate clean and
efficient models at a professional pace.
• A strong understanding of the texture creation
process for physically based rendering pipelines.
• Self-motivated with good time management
skills.
• Ability to be a team player and work
independently.
• Team oriented communication skills.
• English speaking.
• Portfolio of your work.
Proficiency in the Following Software
• 3D Studio Max, Maya, or Blender
• Zbrush
• Adobe Photoshop
• Substance Suite
• Unreal Engine experience desired

Salary Range:
$45k - $50k DOE
