Deck Nine Games is currently hiring a Producer/Project Manager to join one of our award-winning narrative adventure teams. If you love digging into spreadsheets and schedules, solving problems in Jira, and inspiring teams with your calm grace under pressure, then you’re the right person for the job.

Responsibilities:

Work with team to establish milestone schedule and goals
Construct spreadsheets and documents for internal and external consumption
Manage Jira and Confluence projects / spaces
Own costs and status so as to collaborate on prioritization of stakeholder input
Proactively communicate milestone issues and / or create solutions for issues
Collaborate with Lead Producer to deliver game on time and on budget
Track costs for the budget and look at long-term effects of tasks
Mentor Junior Producers on the team
Contribute solutions to team, product, and studio problems
Member of and contributor to a positive, collaborative, creative studio environment
Take every idea and challenge seriously but not personally
Be a passionate leader every day

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in production
Successfully shipped PC and / or console games
Excellent verbal and written communication
Able to establish your own priorities and solve problems
Remain calm and positive in the face of stress and conflict
Strong knowledge of project management and office software, ideally Atlassian + MS Office

Bonus Points

Experience with narrative games or cinematic pipelines
Worked in another discipline: programming, art, design, narrative, animation, et cetera
Strong Jira, Confluence, Excel know how

Salary Range: $65k-$80k DOE
