Senior Pipeline TD

Description

The Senior Pipeline TD will be responsible for creating and maintaining workflow tools specific to Fury Road and liasing with RnD on wider tool development & support.

They will also be responsible for Fury Road’s asset and data management.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and troubleshoot technical requirements for the project.
• Provide solutions and alternatives with an awareness of the Director’s vision, the VFX Supervisor’s requirements and the day to day production needs of the project.
• Compile the pipeline needs of the project and liaise with the CG Supervisor and R&D department, delivering clear briefs and detailed descriptions of the development required
• Work with CG Supervisor to prioritise the order of tool development
• Report back to RnD any usage problems and feature requests as appropriate
• Maintain and communicate progress status on development items
• Develop tools, procedures and interfaces to optimize internal performance pipeline and to manage inputs and outputs
• Maintenance of existing tools and support artists in their production tasks
• Work with production staff to ensure delivery of quality solutions for production
• Work with RnD Department and other project leads to capitalize on and expand existing tools.
• Liase with IT & RnD to manage and organise the projects data storage requirements and asset management system.
