Software Engineer (Portal Development / Server Sid

A CAREER WITH THE MMOG INNOVATOR AND DEVELOPER/PUBLISHER OF LEADING FREE-TO-PLAY ONLINE GAMES.

The Software Engineer will work directly with a cross-functional team of Web Developers, Database Engineers as well as Application Developers to design and innovate cutting-edge features for casual games and e-commerce. This person will assist in designing and implementing features from concept to completion, driving software design and usability while addressing performance and scalability challenges. He/She will be responsible for tracking, documenting, reproducing and correcting problems, as well as versioning and building internal and external releases.

Responsible for owning the development and architecture of both our up-and-coming as well as existing current hits.

The best candidates will have solid experience developing web applications utilizing Web 2.0 technologies. Facebook platform and scaling experience and other social media development skills.

Responsibilities:
• To be a part of the Game Development & Operations team
• To be a key member of the Live Operations team that maintains and develops new features for existing applications
• Assist in designing and implementing features from concept to completion
• Tracking, documenting, reproducing and correcting problems
• Versioning and building internal and external releases
• Conducting code review for peers
