Academic Director - Media Arts & Animation and Gam

An Academic Director (AD) for our Media Arts & Animation and Game Art & Design programs is the principal academic officer for a specific program or programs. Responsibilities include: day-to-day operations, assisting students toward successful program completion and staffing the classroom with faculty who support the mission of the college. This individual is responsible for providing academic leadership and development to faculty members. We are looking for a proven leader to develop, hire and train new faculty within each of these programs. The AD is co-responsible with the Campus Head of Academic Affairs for the fiscal well being of the department as it relates to education. Provides guidance and mentoring to students in support of the college programs designed to achieve student completion rates. This individual may teach one or two courses each quarter.
