Technology Assistant Production Manager

The Technology Assistant Production Manager is responsible for aiding communication between a specific technology team, the digital production manager, supervisors and leads, while managing production flow to maintain an established schedule. The ideal candidate should work well under pressure, be able to quickly prioritize issues and follow through until a timely resolution can be reached.

Responsibilities:

· Participates in managing production flow across a department

· Accountable for enabling assigned production work to be completed within an established schedule

· Keep department supervisors and digital production manager informed of all project status/timelines and issues

· Work with digital production manager, department managers, and leads to plan, estimate, schedule, and assign work across a department

· Track progress of work across a department for production flow to keep projects moving forward effectively and on schedule

· Monitor and adjust daily assignments and priorities for developers in conjunction with digital production manager

· Work with the DPM, department managers, and Supervising Technical Director to maintain daily communication with leads, and artists regarding production flow status and issues

· Assist to drive resolution of high priority issues

· Update production management tools such as scheduling and tracking systems

· Set up meetings, prepare documentation and write up notes

· Organize and manage technology department rounds and code reviews, making sure they are on-time and that the notes are distributed directly following

· Help to maintain a positive and supportive work environment

· Report directly to digital production manager

· Supervise and mentor coordinators and production assistants in daily note taking, priorities, and timely distribution of information
