Senior Project Manager

Description

The Senior Project Manager at Helixe is a director-level role which architects and provides project management services for Helixe’s entire product portfolio. This person is responsible for not only directly managing a single project, but also for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the other projects undergoing development at Helixe.

Working closely with senior members of the other disciplines, the Senior Producer is responsible for managing schedules and ensuring timely and accurate asset and work-flow for team and resource coordination. Alongside the other directors, the Senior Producer is charged with balancing scheduling requirements against the production requirements necessary to insure a fun, visually-impressive and bug-free game while satisfying the requirements (and communicating progress to) all external stakeholders.


Cross-project/Studio-wide responsibilities:
• Provides cross-project framework, policies and guidelines for effective project management of all Helixe titles. Actively works to improve Helixe’s development process.
• Identifies and resolves workflow and personnel issues. Works towards maximizing productivity and employee quality of life.
• Ensures relationship with licensors is well maintained, both for approvals and reference requests (either directly or via delegation)
• Ensures that relationships and communications with THQ marketing and publishing services are well maintained throughout development cycle, from gathering requirements to demo and marketing assets (either directly or via delegation)
• Interfaces with THQ services such as PR, Localization and QA as necessary, keeping all agencies informed of project status, progress, and risks
