Technical Artist

Description

Midway Chicago is seeking a talented Technical Artist who will bridge the gaps between our Art, Programming and Design teams. In this role you will represent the technical interests of the studio’s art department and facilitate the technical requirements of the Art Director and Artists. You will drive technical art understanding and implementation within our development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Driving the technical aspect of art development through advances in tech process, technology and automation.
• Communication between the Art, Programming and Design teams.
• Researching and promoting new techniques and helping to train the team in their use and ensuring that art assets are optimal for performance.
• Pipeline/tool chain design
