Game Designer

Description

Midway Studios-Austin is looking for talented designers to work on a next-generation action game using Unreal Engine 3. Candidates will work with a group of talented designers and artists to create dynamic game spaces and memorable game encounters that take advantage of emergent game systems.

Requirements:
The candidate should be proficient in scripting languages/tools and other tools/techniques essential to game design. The ideal candidate has the ability to create compelling level content with good player flow. Additionally, the candidate must be able to document their work and contribute ideas to multiple areas of the game's design. Likewise, the candidate must be able to support other game designers with technical and creative issues, complete tasks to quality standards on time, and easily take creative and technical direction.
