T1 lines, cables, computers, dev kits, firewalls, networks, servers, the internet, connectivity… if these words make you giddy then we have the spot for you! Insomniac Games is looking for an experienced and versatile IT specialist to work with a talented team and help us to set up and maintain our new North Carolina studio.

Main responsibilities for this guru:
o Establish and maintain all systems, including pcs, servers, network equipment, renderfarm, firewalls, email, and phone systems.
o Manage security.
o Purchase and install new software.
o Create and regularly test a disaster recovery plan for data.
o Provide support for all pc connectivity issues, external connectivity issues, server and services monitoring.
o Provide support for all incoming user issues/problems (ranging from basic application support (Microsoft Windows, Office), to specific application support (Maya, internal tools).
o Set up, maintain, and track pcs and dev kits.
o Purchase new hardware and software.
o Participate in making the game!
