SENIOR ONLINE PRODUCER
JOB SUMMARY
The Senior Online Producer shall support the Online Gaming business unit in all aspects of execution, implementation, and operations. This will principally include providing organizational and logistical support to the Vice President of Online Gaming for day-to-day operations of this dynamic new business unit housed within WMS. In addition, the Senior Producer will also provide creative input, project management, and general business decision support to the business unit.

This person will be at the center of the Online Gaming development team and will manage the product development process. Responsibilities include the planning, scheduling, asset sourcing, budget tracking, and general administrative support for both the development team and business unit as a whole. Specifically, this role will provide leadership in developing business requirements and scope statements that define product deliverables. The candidate must have a proven track-record of delivering high-quality digital products on tight timelines, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Online Producer will manage a wide range of concurrent internal and external facing projects as well as employees with a wide range of functional skills.

The preferred candidate will be a detail oriented, proactive and flexible team player who is self-motivated, responsible, efficient, and dedicated. The ideal candidate is a results-oriented entrepreneur with strong interpersonal skills who has an understanding of online technologies, passion for gaming, general business skill set, and broad awareness of online trends.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
• Bachelor Degree required
Experience
• Minimum 5 years of applicable online software project management experience as a producer or project lead
• Experience within any of the following settings: an online media, game, or portal business.
• Track record of delivering original software products (ideally consumer-facing online software) from start to finish as Producer/Project Lead.

JOB FUNCTIONS
• Drive the product development process from inception to deployment while maintaining the creative vision of the product.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules and budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and in scope while meeting WMS' quality expectations
• Highly organized with the ability to handle simultaneous projects across the business unit, including the daily business operations and logistics as requested by the Vice President of Online Gaming.
• Responsible for collaboration between the Online Gaming business unit and other WMS departments (legal, compliance, business development, finance, IT, human resources, administrative) as well as external third parties.
• Ability to map business requirements to appropriate functional/technical requirements
• Identify product goals, define objectives, and write functional specifications
• Drive project execution in an organized and disciplined manner
• Track milestones and critical paths, including QA checks
• Manage open project issues, change control processes, and project issues resolution.
• Ensure that all content creation and product development documentation is assembled, published, and updated while remaining producible and cohesive
• Develop and monitor open project issues, change control processes, risk and contingency plans and determine the recommended course of action for resolving all issues on time.
• Identify and documents project successes and lessons learned and constantly seeks to improve documentation to make the production process more efficient.
• Manage website design process
• Develop a solid understanding of the online business, including online platforms, games, and player needs and maintain up-to-date knowledge about technology & industry trends
• Ensure all community, marketing, QA and geographic localization and associated collateral requirements are appropriately scheduled and delivered
• Assist in the management of key third-party relationships; including ancillary software vendors, payment processors, regulatory agencies, and others as the case may arise.
• Identify and track competitors’ products and features as well as WMS internal key performance indicators (“KPIs”)
• Attend budget meetings and provide ongoing analysis of the profit-and-loss (P&L) statement for the project or development effort.
• Manage the flow of assets and information between teams and team members
• Provide miscellaneous operations and decision support for various business unit initiatives

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
• Strong familiarity with web technologies; previous development experience is a plus
• Dynamic professional with a strong sense of initiative who can drive complex projects with minimal guidance/oversight
• Diplomatic management and leadership skills
• Mature communication and presentation skills
• Extensive experience with Microsoft Office tools including Microsoft Visio and Project
• Ability to work with and make judgments with sometimes ambiguous or limited data
• Ability to interact well with people at all levels within and outside the WMS organization
