Senior AI Engnineer

Description

Destineer is looking for a Senior AI Engineer who has shipped multiple commercial games to design and implement AI systems for a large-budget next-generation military shooter. If you’d like to play a key role in the development of a fully funded AAA game that we’re building with close help from combat-experienced US Marines, we’d like to speak with you right away.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Direct the development of flexible AI system code, AI behaviors, and in-game tools for editing and debugging AI logic
• Participate in the implementation of core AI systems and features
• Work closely with design team to understand AI requirements for game titles
• Breakdown requirements into clearly defined tasks for junior team members
• Stay abreast of the latest trends and ideas in AI technology
• Mentor junior level software engineers and help with task estimation
