FX Artist - NC

Description

Particles bursting, explosions, fire, spaceships whirling, and debris falling from the sky… no, this is not your typical day in SoCal! But it’s what you will be called upon to create for Insomniac Games in North Carolina. We are looking for a FX person! This artist is responsible for creating FX packages to work and assist in the gameplay and the environment of our titles. You know – make things look super cool… and really enhance the players experience!

What you would be doing:
• Create weapon, character, specialty, and ambient effects
• Place effects throughout the levels
• Add joints and effectors to characters and objects
• Create simulations for gameplay elements
• Prototype effects/looks for gameplay and engine
• Other duties may be assigned
