We are seeking a Home Community Specialist with a dynamic personality, great communication skills, and a strong background in community management to oversee all aspects of day-to-day community life for the highly-anticipated PlayStation®Home, including setting in-world tone, enforcing rules, recruiting and managing voluntary and full-time community contributors, managing item assets, coordinating in-world media content, and planning/hosting in-world events and promotions. This person will also participate in product development for new community initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Act as community advocate for PlayStation Home to generate deep understanding of the Home consumer, including listening, monitoring, and understanding what consumers are saying within the Home environment as well as external websites.

* Establish and enforce standards of respect and helpfulness in Home and interact directly with members to promote good feeling and settle disputes gracefully

* Engage customers by responding to their requests and needs, both in private and in public

* Generate regular reports updating management on status of Home community

* Create and maintain community events and promotions to maximize customer participation, engagement, and retention in Home.

* Actively participate in online forums and discussion boards relating to Home

* Perform role of brand evangelist to Home community

* Promote events, products, and service updates to Home community by using traditional marketing tactics and conversational discussions

* Become a proven, trusted member of the community, having an high level of trust and respect to establish a position of authority with the Home community

* Recruit, motivate and manage a team of voluntary community evangelists

* Pursue initiatives to welcome and engage gamers in Home, influencing product development to suit the community needs of gamers today

* Interact with Content Producer to promote integration between content and community

* Assist with community interaction, virtual item management, and in-world media management and coordination to maximize community retention, revenue, and internal cross-functional coordination
