Senior Training Specialist

Overall, the position of Format Quality Assurance (FQA) Senior Training Specialist is expected to partner with the organization to provide training in a number of forms to support FQA employees in their ability to perform their duties. The FQA Training specialist will be expected to design, develop and maintain training courses, materials, tools, applications and documentation.

Responsibilities:
• Provide training for the department all aspects of software/hardware testing, including bug identifying, writing, reporting and bug database operation.
• Induct new contingent and Full Time employees into FQA, introducing them to and training them for the appropriate level of testing they will be performing.
• Regularly interact with Format QA Team to identify common issues and improvement areas to address with ongoing training and/or individual coaching.
• Design and develop extended learning/training tools and applications.
• Refine training as industry growth and business needs dictate.
• Writing, maintaining and distributing training documentation.
• Provide training courses and material for Third Party Licensees.
Skills:
• A Senior FQA Training Specialist needs to possess strong public speaking, communication, and teaching skills as well as the ability to work with a wide variety of skill sets and personalities. The skill sets can range from new Temporary hires with no previous QA experience to veteran Full Time FQA employees. Demonstrated ability to work as a productive team partner yet must also be able to work independently, in order to meet multiple project deadlines in developing training solutions that meet and exceed departmental business needs.
• A Senior FQA Training Specialist must have the ability to efficiently define and document processes to organize training sessions that teach processes to FQA staff who will be performing these processes.
• This position requires a Senior FQA Training specialist to have an ability to understand various technical game QA and networking related concepts, terminologies, processes and common hardware used.
• A Senior FQA Training Specialist must be able to effectively create and organize various Format QA related curriculum. He must be able to recognize needs, investigate and form training solutions.
• A Senior FQA Training Specialist must be well versed with various industry teaching trends and methodologies, possessing the ability to make adaptive changes to meet the growing/changing demands of the department to remain in sync with industry standards.
