Senior Web Project Manager

The Senior Web Project Manager is responsible for managing large web projects (from early interaction with the clients, design and development, right through to delivery) to ensure smooth launches of cutting-edge Web-based applications on us.playstation.com. The role entails managing multiple projects concurrently, building cross-functional project plans, budgeting, coordinating resources, manage risks, issues and third parties, as well as ensuring timely delivery through the full Web development life cycle.

Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
• Manage full life cycle Website builds including activities related to upgrades and new releases of existing sites

• Lead UAT efforts to set up of staging environments, performing functional testing, load testing and performance testing. Lead efforts to resolve all issues detected during these tests

• Be responsible for project analysis & planning, allocating resources

• Understand the project also from a technical point of view;

• Provide excellent customer service.

• Manage internal teams and vendors to deliver on project schedules

• Manage implementation of Web analytics applications. Ensure analytics rollout across all PSN websites and integration of analytics within all web marketing initiatives (banners, email marketing, PPC). Create reports, dashboards, identify goals, KPI’s, and set up funnels. Use actionable insights to improve on web initiatives.

• Research, evaluate and recommend new web technologies and tools.

• Work with an extended team of business stakeholders, information architects, visual designers, web/IT
• Developers providing clear direction, project plans, and status. Specifically collaborate with front end Web programmers, systems administrators and application developers to integrate and manage web content and services.

• Review progress of the various projects, manage resources and ensure overall best in class online customers’ experience.
