Senior 3d Artist

Description

We are currently looking for a versatile, all-rounder Senior 3d Artist for our Quebec City Office with exceptional modeling and texturing skills.

The chosen applicant will be in charge of leading the modeling and texture aspects of our new project. He/She will work in collaboration with the art director to set the quality level of the characters and to respect the artistic vision of the game. He/She’ll be in charge of managing the aspects of content creations such a pipeline concerns, “shaders” and asset integration.

The chosen applicant will work with the art director to determine the style, look and quality level of the modeling, whether it’s hi-poly or lo-poly.

He/She has a complete portfolio with superior quality in terms of modeling and texture. She also has skills in animation, rendering and special effects.

Responsibilities

•Work with Art Director, rigging, animation and engineering to determine style, look and level of quality for the characters.
•Model characters in high polygon, low polygon and in game resolutions.
•Handle technical aspects of character creation such as pipeline concerns, assets build with optimum efficiency, and creation of advanced shaders and asset integration
•Work closely with other art disciplines to determine character technical specifications
•Create animations and special effects when needed
