- Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Animal Logic, award winning Animation and VFX Studio, is currently searching for an experienced CG Supervisor to join its team of CG Supervisors.
Reporting to the Head of Production, and working with key creative and technical leadership groups, the CG supervisors provide technical leadership at both a facility and project level.
Main areas of responsibility include: leading the development of flexible and efficient CG pipelines to meet creative briefs; ensuring solutions are effective in delivering shots and monitoring the performance of such; and effectively communicating implementation solutions.
- Requirements:
- Applicants must posses the following:
• Previous hands on production experience producing shots
• A minimum of 4 years experience working as a CG Supervisor on television commercials, films or animated features
• Proven experience, implementing technical solutions to solve complex creative challenges
• A strong understanding of pre-production
• A broad knowledge of technologies including, modelling, rigging, particle systems, lighting/shading techniques, scripting languages and 3D API’s
• An interest in ‘pushing’ technology to create ‘out of the box’ solutions
• Demonstrated leadership capability
• A strong sense of team
• Previous experience successfully mentoring and growing talent
• Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
