Job Description and Responsibilities:
Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a talented Matte Painter to join our Cinematics team. The Cinematic Matte Painter will be responsible for creating hyper-realisitic backgrounds and breathtaking landscapes for our next generation of award winning in-game movies. A portfolio showcasing strong 2D and 3D skills is a must.

Responsibilities include:

• Use animation software and painting skills to create hyper-realistic backgrounds and environments
• Combine skills in painting and animation software with knowledge of design, photography, and digital modeling to create two-dimensional and three-dimensional images for blizzard's cinematic movies.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a matte painter in an FX house and or CG animation house in films, games or a related field.
• Extensive knowledge of matte painting techniques; knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling, rendering and compositing software, animation, and motion;
• Advanced knowledge of 3dsmax and Photoshop. Experience with a wide variety of 3D software packages and compositing software is a big plus.
