Fall Line Studio, located in salt Lake City Utah, is a start up of Disney Interactive Studios. We are dedicated to releasing games inspired by Disney characters, television shows, and entertainment franchises exclusively for Nintendo consoles and Wii systems. Job Description and Responsibilities:

Fall Line studio is looking for a character rigger to join its tools department. The ideal candidate would be a highly motivated, intelligent artist, with excellent problem solving skills. The candidate should have the ability to give solutions to technical issues in a collaborative, fast-paced production environment as well as manage and coordinate their work load with their targeted deadlines. We are looking for someone who has built complex rigs in Maya and has experience creating scripts in MEL and Python. The candidate must also be attuned to the needs of a production pipeline and those of the animators.
Requirements:
• Professional experience as a Character Rigger or Technical Artist in the games or film industry

• Extensive knowledge of Maya

• Experience creating easy to use but extremely flexible body and facial rigs for both realistic and cartoon style characters
• Strong knowledge of character anatomy and kinetics for human and non human characters
• Knowledge of cutting-edge character pipeline and workflow techniques integrating both motion capture and keyframe data
• Strong proficiency developing tools in MEL and Python
• High proficiency in technical problem solving

• Work with a strong team of animators, artists, technical artist and programmers to develop and implement new ideas for improved workflow.
• Demo reel on CD, DVD, or online (preferred) showing rigging and technical proficiency
Desired Skills and Pluses:
• A passion for games
• Strong technical knowledge of Maya, Motion Builder

• C/C++, or other programming languages a bonus
