Jr. Systems Administrator – 2K Games SUMMARY: 2K is looking for an enthusiastic, talented, and personable systems administrator to join our Novato IT group. Applicants will be highly motivated and organized, able to work as part of a team, while also possessing the ability to work without supervision. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: •Serve as primary IT support, coordinating with existing IT staff to diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues on PC workstations, Macs, and Dell servers. •Day to day administration of Windows server environment: AD, DNS, DHCP, related applications •Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues (including VPN support) •Use imaging and deployment tools by Altiris to insure workstations and applications are deployed in a standardized manner. •Assist in administering backup and restoration system, including Netbackup, offsite data management, long term storage media inventory control, robotic tape system, etc. •Develop and maintain documentation for procedures and user resolution documentation •Provide timely and creative solutions to difficult problems. •On call rotation for 24 x 7 support. •Ability to work calmly in high pressure situations and manage multiple ongoing projects.
