Product Marketing Manager - 2K Games

Product Marketing Manager - 2K Games The purpose of this position is to develop and manage 2K Games title-specific product marketing. The ideal candidate will exhibit a strong mix of creative, strategic, and detail-oriented qualities with a complete understanding of the target audience, communities, creative marketing and videogames. Job Responsibilities: This position will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for the following: • Create and execute innovative title-specific marketing plans consistent with the 2K Games brand strategy • Manage advertising, media buying agencies, and internal creative teams in development and execution of advertising plans, packaging & point-of-sale materials • Work with development teams to conceptualize and develop relevant product positioning • Work with web and community teams in creating and developing product and community websites, social marketing initiatives, and online strategies. • Work with internal teams and first party hardware manufacturers to create mutually beneficial marketing partnerships. Identify opportunities with partners and create and execute marketing co-programs. • Maximize retail marketing effectiveness in coordination with Take-Two Channel Marketing • Assist Take-Two sales force in creation of assets and presentations to retail buyers and provide location support when necessary • Track marketing performance and returns • Coordinate product packaging, manual content and production working with in-house product development and outside vendors • Develop budget, manage expenses, track expenditures

Requirements

Experience Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess the following skill set and attributes: • B.A. or B.S. Degree • A minimum of 4-6 years experience in videogame product marketing, ideally with console boxed product • A proven record of successful product launches • Ability to work effectively with developers, creative and agency colleagues, marketing research firms and peers, and sales and marketing personnel. • Creativity coupled with the work ethic to implement and execute • Proven capability to "see the big picture" and to effectively multi-task, managing activities in a dynamic environment and extremely competitive consumer market • A sense of humor goes a long way...
