Pipeline Database Developer
Description
Work with pipeline developers to tailor database tools to artist and production management requirements.
Design, and implement solutions to maintain and scale systems for a growing company with multiple facilities.
Develop automation scripts to perform monitoring and maintenance of database software and servers.
Handle database back up and failover.
Monitor and optimize slow queries. Tune performance of servers based on load.
Understand data structures,
generate and present custom reports based on production management needs.
Requirements
B.S. or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
Backend and frontend web development experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience working in backend technologies including Python, Django, MySQL, and Apache.
Experience with server performance
tuning, Apache and MySQL optimization, database replication, and clustering.
Knowledge of JavaScript and
frontend application frameworks.
