Digital Production Manager/VFX Producer

Giant Studios (GGS) is currently recruiting a Digital Production Manager/VFX Producer to manage and expand the production of digital
projects in addition to coordinating and streamlining our ever-demanding
digital production process. This high profile position is key to ensuring
delivery of digital assets for existing clients that include feature film cyber
scanning contracts, visual effects support, as well as development and
implementation of proprietary technology. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for coordinating, scheduling and workflow of our technology
development department while liaising with our roster of clients. The DPM/VFX
Producer will be dealing with external vendors, managing budget and
scheduling needs and ensuring that the Digital department maximizes
profitability by maintaining and leveraging 14+ years of relationships with
major studios. The DPM/VFX Producer will ensure delivery of a varying mix of digital
content to multiple clients, and meet our ever-demanding deadlines while
maintaining quality standards that are synonymous with the GGS brand. Forward
planning and scheduling is key, with the ideal candidate being incredibly
organized and experienced in all stages of the digital production process.
Responsibilities:

Working with multiple cross functional teams across
International time zones
·
Oversight of digital department to establish best
workflows, scheduling, working practice and allocation of resources
·
Implementing and coordinating multiple production
schedules, both internally and externally
·
Setting production and technology development
schedules, both internally and externally
·
Prioritization of production team’s tasks and
responsibilities
·
Oversight and implementation of data
storage, security and organization
·
Managing production budgets including direct
management of personnel, equipment and reconciliation of costs
·
Liaising with external developers, freelance
personnel, external project managers, and vendors to ensure quality and
punctuality
The
DPM/VFX Producer will report directly to the Vice
President and President and will be responsible for maintaining and sharing financial
records, including bids, estimates and invoices
with the company Controller.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:

The highest level of recommendations from previous
colleagues and Industry contacts
·
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial tracking
software and project tracking software
·
Knowledge of 3D, compositing and rendering hardware
and software preferred
·
Demonstrated ability to manage time according to
current priorities in an efficient manner
·
Strong written and verbal communication skills
·
2 to 5 years’ experience line producing and/or
managing a digital production team preferably on feature films
·
Current list of Industry contacts including VFX
Producers, VFX Supervisors and key decision makers
