Professor of Animation Production
Description
SCAD has been named among the world's top animation schools

full-time professor teaching in the animation department at SCAD Savannah.
The person in this position will develop and extend
students' awareness of story, audience and collaboration in production.
Therefore, a keen understanding of commercial and/or independent film-making
would be a major asset to the position. Preference will be given to candidates
with college-level teaching experience, proven leadership skills and ability to
work with students of diverse backgrounds.

Requirements
Qualifications:
·
terminal degree or its equivalent in animation
or a related field
·
strong portfolio and professional experience
·
ability to demonstrate, by providing an online
demo reel, expertise in preproduction, production and postproduction of 2-D and
3-D animation projects
·
a keen understanding of commercial and/or
independent filmmaking
·
college-level teaching experience, proven
leadership skills and ability to work with students of diverse backgrounds
preferred.
