It’s a sphere with a built in randomizer, courtesy of this earth’s gravity and the artful architecture of an entire universe below glass. Stern Pinball is searching for a software developer with a passion for pinball. Stern Pinball develops and markets state of the art real pinball games.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop game software and gameplay features within an established framework; including game rules, playfield illumination shows, video display interaction, game audio choreography, and device drivers for electro mechanical playfield toys.

- The software developer will work closely with game designers, mechanical & electrical engineers, artists, and audio designers to implement game ideas.

- Design, write, debug and refine gameplay systems, features, tools and infrastructure as needed.

- Provide technical, creative, and scheduling feedback.

- Provide project task time estimates; keep co-workers informed about progress of programming deliverables as well as non-programming prerequisites for feature implementation.

Requirements

Requirements

- Candidates should hold a minimum of a BS in Computer Science and have 5+ years of experience developing software in industry.

- Strong knowledge of C++ and proficiency in a development environment.

- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary design team.

Candidate must be flexible and capable of expanding and adapting designs to meet project goals
