Senior Animator
Description
The Artist is responsible for hands on operation of the CG workstation. Design and execution of high- level animation for use in final compositing is part of the daily work. The position requires a high degree of technical skill and artistic judgement. In addition, the Artist serves as a key front-line representative of the company and frequently deals directly with clients in challenging situations. Accordingly, a professional demeanor and diplomacy are important.
Requirements
- 5 years experience in Maya with concentration in character animation in Feature Film or Commercials
-Good storytelling skills, knowledge of camera angles and framing shots.
-Knowledge of anatomy and human motion.
-Solid key frame animation skills is desirable.
-Basic rigging knowledge.
-Can easily adapt to different styles.
-Organized, meets deadlines, responsible for his/ her work and the animation team.
-Good mentoring skills.
-Can effectively communicate with the management team and keep the Producer updated of the animation team.
