Production Manager
Description
Pipe Dreams 3D is a full service animatic and animation
production company with a global presence and a localized mindset. We
work with the world’s leading advertising agencies and household name brands to
develop advertising creative, from developing concepts and storyboards, testing
and research phases, through to the production of finished on-air TV
commercials.
The Project Manager will be an
important member of the Pipe Dreams team, supporting the Producer in the
management of projects, clients and artists.
The successful candidate will liaise regularly with clients and with all
departments and functions of the business, within North America, and
occasionally Europe.
Requirements

Managing all types of animation projects,
whether post production, animatic or in-house
·
Ensuring all client requirements are satisfied
throughout project by close communication with artists & Creative Director
·
Effectively managing client expectations &
negotiating budgets/timelines for out-of-scope work
·
Liaising with the business development team to
ensure workload is consistent & manageable
·
Creating budgets, issuing new quotes, agreeing
final costs with client, obtaining purchase orders and issuing invoices
·
Attending briefings or meetings with clients,
either at the studio or travelling to their offices
·
Compiling work schedules and allocating
resources
·
Managing freelance artists’ time & invoices
·
Keeping on top of general studio admin &
tasks - daily register, work planner, taking calls etc
The role is based in our Chicago
based studio in the West Loop, and will mainly be office based. Initially we
are offering a temp contract but for the right candidate this could develop
into a full time permanent position.
